The Videlina International Choir of the French brotherhood travelled to Bulgaria in July 2019 for a series of concerts. They performed to full houses and received standing ovations at the main concert halls in the cities of Varna, Gabrovo and Plovdiv. For the final performance in Plovdiv on 12 July, the Videlina choir was joined by the Bulgarian brotherhood choir for a combined performance. This performance was very symbolic, being on the 155th birthday of the Master Peter Deunov.

The Bulgarian audiences were astonished to hear a foreign choir singing the songs of Peter Deunov in their language. For some numbers they were invited to sing along which they did with great enthusiasm, some in tears, and continuing after the choir had stopped singing – as you will hear at the end of the video.

In the video you will see the renowned Bulgarian conductor Yordan Kamdzhalov leading the combined choirs. His unique arrangements had the audience spellbound. We were very fortunate to have this sublime experience in the home country of the Masters Peter Deunov and Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov.

We hope you will enjoy this beautiful video of the final concert in Plovdiv, Bulgaria on 12 July, 2019, courtesy of Hristo Vlatev of Varna.

Yordan Kamdzhalov is music director and chief conductor of the Rijeka Opera House in Croatia. The concert is performed by the combined International Videlina and Bulgarian Musical Laboratory Choirs.
